these pattern more frequently.What I Learned

= used to express a possibility (present or future)
You could + verb (present tense)
- You could be right.
- You could get hurt.
- You could die.
- You could do great things.
2. You could have + verb (past participle)...
= means you
had the possibility or chance to do something in the past, but it did not happen.- You could have asked. (You had the chance to ask, but you didn't)
- You could have said no. (You had the chance to say no, but you didn't)
- You could have ruined everything. (You had the chance to ruin everything, but you didn't)
- You could have done better on your exam. (You had the chance to do better on the exam, but you didn't)
3. I might...
= used to make a suggestion or suggest a possibility in a polite way.
I might + verb (present tense) + to
I might + verb (present tense) + A/THE
I might + verb (present tense) + noun/pronoun
- I might need a surgery.
- I might leave a little early.
- I might need to get a hold of you.
- I might need your help later.
4. I might have + verb (past participle)...
= used to confirm that something has already
happened but not 100% sure.- I might have lost it.
- I might have been there.
- I might have forgotten.
- I might have lost the match.
5. I might be able to...
= used to express the possibility of achieving something
I might be able to + verb (present tense)
- I might be able to help.
- I might be able to repair it for you.
- I might be able to wash your car.
- I might be able to change her mind.
